Review: Bonapiel Vitamin C Eye Gel

Puffy eyes, dark circles and dull looking eyes can be a problem for many of us. Lack of sleep, incorrect diet, tiredness or excessive stress can only make it worse. I know that this isn’t only my problem, most likely we have all been there at one time or another; we looked in the mirror in the morning and wish we hadn’t.

As much as I wish to lead a perfectly healthy and stress free life, get at least eight hours of sleep every night and have no problems and worries, this isn’t going to happen and I know it, so instead of trying to achieve something virtually impossible, I have turned for help to creams, gels and serums.

Lately I’ve had the opportunity to try the new Vitamin C Eye Gel from Bonapiel.

I’ve never heard about Bonapiel before but whilst checking out their website I came across their risk-free guarantee – basically if you aren’t 100% happy with your product, you can return it for a full refund. They give you 365 days to try it out. Well this gave me some confidence as there isn’t a lot of companies out there who would offer such a risk-free guarantee.

But back to the eye gel…

Bonapiel Vitamin C Eye Gel comes nicely boxed making it suitable as a gift. Inside the box we have the gel itself, which comes packed in a 15ml pump bottle. The bottle is security sealed so you know no one ever “played” with your eye gel before.

The gel itself is colourless and fragrant free. Its texture is… well… gel like 🙂 It’s quite watery and it spreads with ease. One pump gives you enough product for a single application. It leaves your skin well moisturised and radiant looking. I have very dry and sensitive skin and I didn’t experienced any irritation or redness.

In addition to Vitamin C, the eye gel also contains green tea and cucumber, which both lightens the skin around the eyes and reduces puffiness so you look more refreshed and youthful!

As per the website description Bonapiel Vitamin C Eye Gel should help you with:

  • dark circles and puffiness around the eyes
  • “crow’s feet”
  • reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • creating a more youthful radiance
  • protection against future signs of aging
  • moisturizing and smoothing your skin

I have to admit, the gel works well and it does what it is supposed to do. Currently priced at £24.97 via amazon.co.uk it offers good value for money. The size is small but as it is only eye gel and the single pump is enough for one application, it should keep you going for a month or two.

In general I am very pleased with my new eye gel and I can honestly recommend it to others.

What’s your must have beauty product when it comes to eye care?

Have you ever tried any Bonapiel products before?
