Review: Lingerie by Victoria – Freya Enchanted

When it comes to lingerie for a very long time looks meant everything to me. My lingerie had to be pretty more than comfortable and then all the rest…. Lately this priority has changed for me. Yes, it still has to look pretty and yes it has to be comfortable but most of all it has to fit well and do its job as intended. As it ended up getting your bra fitted right is the key!

It’s actually quite silly that at my age I was wearing an incorrect bra size. Once I got it right all my clothes suddenly started to look different. In the last month or so I’ve replaced almost 100% of my bras, mainly because they were the incorrect size. Now I have a much smaller collection but they are all the correct size and actually keep my boobs in check as intended.

Lingerie by Victoria – Freya Enchanted Plunge Balcony Bra

The latest addition to my lingerie collection is the Freya Enchanted Plunge Balcony Bra by Lingerie by Victoria. The bra comes in two colours: black and anthracite grey (this is the one I picked). In addition to the bra you can also purchase matching thongs or briefs to finish the set.

Review Lingerie by Victoria - Freya Enchanted Plunge Balcony BraThe Freya Enchanted is designed for the fuller bust. It comes in cup size DD up to HH and chest size 28-38, so plenty of choice. It’s an underwired, non-padded bra with a high underarm wire and low-cut front. My bra is a 36E and I would say it’s true to its size. It fits perfectly and feels rather good, I have to admit. The Freya Enchanted offers a very pleasing design. The lace part is sown at a slightly lower level than the solid fabric pieces which means that it doesn’t stand out under tight fitted clothing. The straps are wide enough to provide comfort throughout the whole day as well as offering a lot of space for adjustment (which unfortunately some other bras don’t).

In general I really like the bra, it looks nice and it feels great. I would say that my only wish was it had three hooks instead of two but the two hook setup seems to do the job well enough for now so it’s not a big deal. Priced at £33 it offers very good value for money and you have an option to choose bottoms in order to complete your look depending on your preference. This was my first experience with Lingerie by Victoria but I am already drooling over some new sets….

  1. What a gorgeous bra and I love the knickers too! I’m not familiar with Lingerie by Victoria but I’m on my way over to check out their site! The right bra size is absolutely key - when I finally got fitted properly it made such a difference. I always thought I was a 36C - and I’m a 34F!

  2. That set looks gorgeous on!! I’m also one for choosing lingerie prettiness over comfort or practicality! Will have to give this place a go and see what else they have to offer!

I love all comments :-)
