Instead of replacing old wood cabinets I’m planning on re-staining them. I’m going to go darker with them. My kitchen cabinets have sort of an orange-y tint and my master bathroom is a medium brown. I’m considering going with a black stain for both. Lightly sand and then hit it with black stain. At least that’s the plan.

love your tips… our waterloo is the tiler… we can’t do this… we failed a lot with tiling, so we have to put some cents more in our piggy bank before we can start ;O)
We have the same problem… we opt to paint our tiles instead of replacing them… budget-friendly option 🙂
